The Russian humanitarian mission will soon send a large batch of humanitarian aid to forcibly displaced Artsakh people, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in a press briefing on Tuesday.
“Of course, this humanitarian issue remains in the sphere of Russia’s attention, and a new, rather large humanitarian action is planned in the near future through one of our domestic public organizations—the Russian Humanitarian Mission,” she said.
Zakharova also noted that on the Armenian side, the republican branch of “Eurasia” and several other organizations are actively involved in addressing this matter. “As you probably remember, the Russian Humanitarian Mission has previously sent humanitarian cargoes to Armenia, including shipments in October 2023. In particular, six tons of food, personal hygiene products and other essentials were provided to displaced Karabakh residents,” she added.
