Russia continues to be the main supplier of grain to Armenia in 2025: from January to November, it accounted for 99.8% of imports (366.4 thousand tons), the Armenian Ministry of Economy said in response to a request from Sputnik Armenia.
According to the ministry, the structure of grain imports has remained virtually unchanged in recent years, with more than 99% of supplies consistently coming from the Russian market.
By the end of the current year, Armenia was expected to import about 108 thousand tons of grain—including 75 thousand tons of wheat, 8 thousand tons of barley, and 25 thousand tons of corn, predominantly from Russia.
