Russia supports Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization

Russia supports the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Secretary of the Russian Security Council Sergei Shoigu said during a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku.

The sides discussed the prospects of cooperation in the 3+3 format.

It should be noted that before leaving for Baku, Shoigu visited Iran. In Tehran, he had meetings with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Akbar Ahmadian, and Chief of the Iranian Armed Forces Mohammad Bagheri.
