Russia to clarify situation regarding Armenia’s membership in CSTO

Russia will continue contacts with Armenia and clarify the situation regarding its further membership in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told TASS when asked about Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s statements during yesterday’s press conference.

“We have certainly heard these statements. Of course, there is a lot of work to be done. We need contacts both within the CSTO and at the bilateral level with our Armenian partners. We will clarify and talk in line with the statements made by Mr. Prime Minister [of Armenia],” the Kremlin spokesperson said.
