Russia to facilitate grain truck passage through Upper Lars checkpoint – Overchuk

At Armenia’s request, the Russian government has instructed relevant authorities to take additional measures to ensure the organized passage of grain trucks through the Upper Lars checkpoint en route from Russia to Armenia, Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk told reporters.

According to the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in the Republic of North Ossetia–Alania, the movement of all types of transport on the Georgian Military Road was temporarily prohibited in the direction of leaving Russia due to the threat of mudslides from July 31 to August 1.
