Russia to fund multi-million dollar school feeding project for Armenia

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on December 11 on making a voluntary earmarked contribution to the UN World Food Program to finance the costs of a project aimed at developing a sustainable school feeding system in Armenia, a source in the Russian government told Alpha News.
According to the decree, Russia will spend more than 25 million dollars on food for Armenian schoolchildren in 2024-2028 at the expense of the federal budget.
