Russia took Nagorno-Karabakh away from us, returned it to Azerbaijan, and then left, Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan told reporters on Wednesday.
“Didn’t we have wars when Armenia was completely dependent on Russia? We did. It was because of this situation that we ended up at war. We are convinced that these changes will bring stability,” said Grigoryan, referring to the current change in Armenia’s foreign policy.
“I insist that Russia took Nagorno-Karabakh away from us,” he said, stressing that the war in 2020 would not have happened without Russia’s permission.
