Russia, Turkey and Iran have offered Armenia and Azerbaijan to use the 3+3 platform to finalize a peace treaty, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said during a press conference in Istanbul following the regional platform meeting. The agreements, he said, also concern unblocking of communications and delimitation of the border.
The Russian Foreign Minister noted that the main threat to the South Caucasus is interference in its affairs by countries from other regions.
“These countries do not seek to settle problems in the Caucasus but only promote natocentric formats and drive wedges between neighbors,” he said.
