Russia welcomes Armenia-Azerbaijan FMs meeting

Russia welcomes the meeting between Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers scheduled for May 10 in Kazakhstan, Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in a press briefing.
“We welcome the meeting scheduled for May 10,” she said when asked about Russia’s expectations.
According to Zakharova, Russia continues to assist in promoting Armenian-Azerbaijani normalization.
She noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will have a meeting today. The agenda of the meeting is peace, stability and security in the South Caucasus.
