Russian border guards who have completed their service at Zvartnots airport will guard Armenia-Turkey and Armenia-Iran state borders

Russian border guards who have completed their service at Yerevan’s Zvartnots airport will guard the Armenian-Turkish and Armenian-Iranian state borders, the Armenian National Security Service reports.

The agency noted that according to the 1992 agreement, the servicemen of the Border Guard Service of Russia’s Federal Security Service guard the state border in Armenia-Turkey and Armenia-Iran sections.
