Russian Defense Minister calls Russian army ‘main guarantor of peace’ in Artsakh

Russian troops remain the main guarantor of peace in Syria and Karabakh, said Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, RIA Novosti reports.

“Russian groups of troops continue to be the main guarantor of peace in Syria and Karabakh,” Shoigu said at an extended meeting of the board of the Russian Defense Ministry.

The Minister instructed the Russian military forces to ensure peace and stability in Syria and Karabakh in the changed situation.
