Russian flag and coat of arms torn down in Yerevan’s Victory Park

The Russian flag and coat of arms installed at the monument to Armenian and Russian border guards serving at the borders of the republic were torn down in Yerevan’s Victory Park, Sputnik Armenia reports.

At the same time, the Armenian flag and coat of arms remained untouched.

The mayor’s office told Sputnik Armenia that it is not responsible for the incident, and the information should be clarified with the owners of the territory. The city authorities promised to clarify the information about the incident as well.

Meanwhile, according to the agency, the territory is under the jurisdiction of the city administration.
