Russia’s Papik Javadyan takes bronze at European Wrestling Championship

Russia’s Papik Javadyan secured third place at the European Wrestling Championship, held in Tirana, Albania. Javadyan competed in the Greco-Roman style in the 60 kg category, the administration of the city of Krasnodar reports.
The athlete had five fights, winning four of them. He lost to an opponent from Israel but won against last year’s world champion among servicemen from Armenia.
A total of 160 athletes from 29 countries competed in the Greco-Roman style category.
