Samvel Karapetyan’s team will build new economy – Ashot Farsyan

In 2024, foreign investments in Armenia totaled just $138.5 million—ten times less than what was projected in the government’s program, said economist Ashot Farsyan, a member of the working group of the “Our Way” movement founded by Samvel Karapetyan, during the movement’s launch event.

“For comparison, in neighboring Georgia, foreign investments reached $1.5 billion. To avoid any misinterpretation, the largest investors in Georgia were the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Armenia saw a capital outflow of $400 million in 2024. This clearly confirms that Armenia is not attractive to investors,” he said.
