Armenian freestyle wrestler Sargis Begoyan (61 kg) defeated Turkey’s Haci Zade to advance to the round of 16 of the U20 World Youth Wrestling Championships 2025, which began on August 17 in Samokov, Bulgaria.

Begoyan’s next opponent is Marcus Blaze from the USA.
