Scientist Vladimir Airapetian honored with NASA Goddard Center Director’s Award

Armenian scientist Vladimir Airapetian has been honored with the NASA Goddard Center Director’s Award for his exceptional achievements in the field of solar and stellar physics.

Airapetian notably demonstrated how powerful eruptions from the young Sun could have promoted the formation of life’s building blocks on early Earth.
