Searches underway in homes of opposition supporters in Etchmiadzin

Sevak Khachatryan, head of the “Etchmiadzin” faction of the Council of Elders, stated that searches are being conducted in the homes of Etchmiadzin residents with opposition views.

“At the moment, on absurd and illegal grounds, searches are being conducted in the homes of Etchmiadzin residents with opposition views, after which they are being taken to investigative departments. Among those targeted are Edgar Tamazyan, a member of the ‘Etchmiadzin’ faction, as well as Artur Makaryan, Arsen Ghazaryan, and Armen Alexanyan,” he wrote.
