The United States is reviewing a number of requests from Armenia to determine what more it can do to increase its assistance to and cooperation with Armenia, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said at a hearing of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the US House of Representatives.

Blinken noted that in early April, he had a joint meeting with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the Armenian Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, in Brussels. According to the US Secretary of State, these talks were held to find out what else the US and the EU can do to assist Armenia.

He expressed hope that Armenia and Azerbaijan will eventually sign a peace treaty.
