Sev Ohanian’s ‘Sinners’ wins Golden Globe

The Golden Globe Awards 2026, presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association since 1944 for achievements in cinema and television, have revealed the season’s top winners.
Armenian American producer Sev Ohanian’s film “Sinners,” produced alongside Ryan Coogler and Zinzi Coogler, won in the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement category.
This award reflects the film’s strong global audience support, driven by impressive box office results. At present, “Sinners” has grossed about $280 million in the United States and $88.3 million internationally, with interest in the blockbuster continuing to grow.
American producer of Armenian descent Sev Ohanian began his film career at the age of 20 with “My Big Fat Armenian Family”. He has produced films such as “Judas and the Black Messiah”, “Space Jam: A New Legacy”, “Creed III”, “Missing”, and others.
