Short track speed skater David Makaryan claims gold and silver at Russian Championship

The Russian speed skating competitions have ended in Russia’s Saransk, with short track speed skater David Makaryan securing first place in the 500-meter event and finishing as the runner-up in the 1000-meter event.

Makaryan has participated in and won numerous large-scale tournaments.

The championship was held from March 21 to 23, with 76 athletes representing 11 regions of Russia competing in the event.
