On September 20, the Armenian community of Belgium held a silent protest in one of the busiest squares of Brussels to condemn the ethnic cleansing of the Armenian population of Artsakh and the genocidal policy of Azerbaijan, Armenpress reported.
During the protest, the chair of the Committee of Belgian Armenians, Robert Unusyan, expressed his indignation regarding the fate reserved for the Armenians of Artsakh, who are forced to “integrate” into one of the worst dictatorships in the world.
Belgian MP Georges Dallemand also expressed his support for Artsakh Armenians with tears in his eyes. He condemned the inaction of the international community, including Europe and Belgium, in the current situation.
It should be noted that Georges Dallemand was in Artsakh during the war in 2020 and saw the suffering of Artsakh Armenians with his own eyes.
