Soprano Arpi Sinanyan claims second place in international competition in Italy 

Soprano Arpi Sinanyan won second place in the XXVI edition of the “Città di Alcamo” International Competition for Opera Singers held in Italy.

The competition was held in the town of Alcamo, Sicily, with 46 contestants from Armenia, China, Bosnia and Herzegovina, South Korea, Taiwan, Mexico, Argentina, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Hungary, Italy, and other countries participating.

Arpi is from the town of Gavar in the Gegharkunik region. She graduated from the Arno Babajanyan Music and Pedagogical College and the Alexander Spendiaryan Musical School. 
She is a solo artist of the Youth Program of the Spendiaryan Academic Opera and Ballet Theater.
