Soprano Asmik Grigorian to perform one of the most difficult opera roles in Austria

Armenian opera singer, soprano Asmik Grigorian will perform the title role in Vincenzo Bellini’s opera “Norma” on February 16, 19, 23 and 26 at the famous Theater an der Wien in Vienna. This role is considered one of the most difficult in the soprano’s repertoire.

Asmik Grigorian was born in Vilnius. She graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater. She is a soloist and one of the founders of the Vilnius City Opera, a two-time winner of the Golden Stage Cross, the highest Lithuanian theater award. In 2016 and 2019 she was honored with the International Opera Award (London).
