The South Caucasus Railway Company extends the free travel for refugees from Artsakh on suburban electric trains for the first quarter of 2024, the company’s website reports.

The offer is available from October 1 for citizens who arrived in Armenia after September 25 of this year. A total of 3,200 citizens accepted this offer in less than three months.

Previously, it was planned to end the campaign on January 1; however, taking into account its social significance and in agreement with the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, the company decided to extend it for another 3 months.

The free travel applies to local electric trains running daily on routes Yerevan-Gyumri-Yerevan, Araks-Yerevan-Araks, and Yeraskh-Yerevan-Yeraskh.
