The Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia has signed a protocol terminating the powers of Ara Nranyan, a member of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) of the Republic of Armenia.

“Based on the resignation submitted by Ara Nranyan, member of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia, and in accordance with Point 2 of Part 2 of Article 147 of the Constitutional Law ‘Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly,’ the powers of Ara Nranyan—granted by Decision No. 19-A dated October 5, 2021—are considered terminated as of September 12, 2025,” reads the protocol signed by NA Speaker Alen Simonyan.

It should be noted that the agenda of the National Assembly session, which began on September 8, included the election of a new PSRC member. The “Armenia” and “With Honor” factions nominated Ara Nranyan, who had held the position since 2021.
