A meeting between the special envoys of Armenia and Turkey will take place on Tuesday, a diplomatic source told NEWS.am.

The meeting is scheduled at the Armenian-Turkish border. It may take place at Armenia’s Margara checkpoint.

On June 11, Ruben Rubinyan, deputy speaker of the Armenian parliament and special envoy for Armenian-Turkish normalization, announced that “an official meeting has not taken place for a long time, but there is an agreement that a new meeting will take place between the special envoys of Armenia and Turkey.” He added that the date and place had not been agreed upon yet.
