Sputnik’s office closed in Azerbaijan

The representative office of the Rossiya Segodnya media group in Azerbaijan (Sputnik Azerbaijan) has been closed, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesperson Aykhan Hajizada said, responding to an inquiry from Azerbaijani media.

“The representative office of Russia Today (Sputnik) in Azerbaijan has been closed,” the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesperson said.

According to him, the Russian company can be accredited in Azerbaijan only through one correspondent.
