St. Petersburg to host Armenian duduk concert

The concert entitled ‘Armenian Duduk: Breath of Time’ will be held in St. Petersburg on November 23, with duduk player Arsen Grigoryan performing.

Traditional Armenian music, world hits, as well as author’s pieces in modern, unusual arrangements will be performed. The concert will be accompanied by acoustic guitar performed by virtuoso Alexey Nosov and percussion instruments by master of oriental rhythms Yevgeny Strelnikov.

Born in Yerevan, Arsen Grigoryan in early childhood moved with his family to St. Petersburg, Russia. Later on, without losing touch with his hometown, he constantly came here to improve his skills. He studied under such recognized masters as Georgy Minasov, Emmanuel Hovhannisyan and Norayr Zhamharyan.
