State Security Service of Azerbaijan reports capture of Madat Babayan

The State Security Service of Azerbaijan reported the capture of another Armenian, Madat Babayan, who was allegedly detained in the Karvachar district of Artsakh during the Azerbaijani aggression on September 19-20, 2023.

The man is allegedly suspected of participating in the so-called “Khojaly genocide on the night of February 25-26, 1992.”

In Baku, he is accused of “committing terrorist acts with the intention to incite enmity on national grounds.”
