Supreme Spiritual Council meeting kicks off in Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

The meeting of the Supreme Spiritual Council began on June 11 in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, chaired by the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.
The meeting began with the Lord’s Prayer, after which the Supreme Patriarch, expressing his gratitude and blessing to the clergy and laity of the Supreme Spiritual Council, asked for the gifts of the Holy Spirit and guidance for the effective conduct of the meeting. The meeting will discuss issues related to external threats and internal political developments in the homeland, the reconsecration of the Cathedral and other church-related issues.
The agenda also includes various ecclesiastical, administrative, diocesan, and educational issues.
