Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan told Artsakh people that the 40,000 drams support program for them will not be extended for an additional two months unless the tent in Freedom Square is removed.

The tent established by the Headquarters for the Protection of the Rights of Artsakh Armenians in Yerevan’s Freedom Square will be dismantled tomorrow following a decision by the council, and the 40,000-dram support program will be prolonged for two more months. Nzhdeh Iskandaryan, coordinator of the council, announced this during a press conference.

“The day before, we met with the representative of the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office. Not only did they agree to extend the 40,000-dram support, but they also accepted the demands we presented. They also admitted that these support programs are ineffective. A working group will also be established to regulate the new program,” he said.
