The relics of St. Gregory the Illuminator were donated to the Armenian Church in Novocherkassk, Armenpress writes.

The gift was presented after a joint prayer service held at the Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Novocherkassk with the participation of Rector Oleg Dobrinsky and the clergy of the Armenian churches of Rostov, headed by Vicar of the Russian-Novonakhichevan Diocese Vardapet Gabriel Sargsyan.

After a joint prayer, as a sign of strengthening fraternal relations between the Russian and Armenian Churches, Rector Oleg Dobrinsky presented the spiritual pastor of the Armenian Church of Novocherkassk, Anania Babayan, with an icon of the first Catholicos of the Armenian Orthodox Church with the relics of St. Nicholas. The clergy carried the holy relic to the Armenian Church of St. Nicholas in a procession. Grigor Lusavorich in Novocherkassk, where she found her final resting place. On this occasion, the clergy offered a prayer, praising the Lord for the grace to witness the great feast.
