“The Tales of The Blue Sky” – film through the eyes of Artsakh children

On September 14, the film “The Tales of The Blue Sky” by journalist Vruyr Tadevosyan was screened in North Hollywood.
The film tells about feelings of children who witnessed the 44-day war, ideas about peace and war, as well as universal problems and values.
The organizer of the screening Sarkis Balkhian, Executive Director of ANCA Western Region, emphasized that the film should be watched by American government officials.
Archbishop Hovnan Derderian advised to look at the film through the eyes of children to understand it correctly.
The screening was also attended by Los Angeles City Council President Paul Krekorian and American TV host Araksya Karapetyan.
The film was shot in 2022 in the Artsakh villages of Surishen Avdur, Karmir Shuka and Taghavard.
All the children involved in the filming have been under the Azerbaijan’s blockade for nine months.
