Flour and bread near the UN office in Yerevan: “Opening” demands the UN to fulfill its obligations

Today, members of the Civil Initiative “Opening” held another protest near the UN office in Armenia. A member of the initiative, Narek Ayvazyan, appealed to the UN, recalling the obligations that it still has not fulfilled.
“The teeth of the UN are worn down, our teeth are also worn down due to hopelessness, laziness, despair and incompetence. Since 2020, a “martial law” has been declared in our souls, and the threat of genocide forces us to sharpen our teeth and the teeth of the UN as well,” he said.
Then the members of the initiative placed flour and bread in front of the UN office.
“Bread should be delivered to Artsakh through the UN, it is their duty, but now they are not able to do it. It is necessary to force decision-makers to exert pressure to open the Lachin corridor and deliver humanitarian aid to our compatriots. The UN Security Council is obliged to open the Lachin corridor as soon as possible. This is our demand. The whole world states that Artsakh is experiencing a humanitarian crisis, but nothing is being done to stop this”, Narek Ayvazyan said.
