Lawyer Roman Yeritsyan, speaking to journalists, commented on the search conducted by Armenia’s Investigative Committee at the Artsakh Representation in Yerevan. He noted that the criminal case under which the search is currently being carried out was initiated in June 2025.
“It concerns the signing of an agreement on the transfer of rights by the Artsakh Investment Fund within the framework of a loan agreement concluded between a specific legal entity and a bank operating in Armenia. The transfer agreement was signed as part of a decision by the governments of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh. In other words, I personally do not see any elements of an obvious crime here. And frankly, I do not understand what connection an event that took place in 2021 has to the permanent location of the Artsakh Representation,” he said.
According to him, during the search not a single document was found that could be relevant to the investigation.
