This government must leave as soon as possible – Archbishop Arshak Khachatryan

Since 2018 I have had serious doubts regarding political processes, Archbishop Arshak Khachatryan, Chancellor of the Mother See, said during a press conference.

“Unfortunately, in 2020 the event occurred that devastated all our lives: we lost Artsakh, we lost national solidarity. Under false and artificial pretexts, many individuals were arrested, and society was divided,” he said.

According to him, today in Armenia the person leading the political process inspires no trust.

“That person and that government, which have brought such disaster upon our country and our people, cannot continue to remain in power. They must leave as soon as possible,” the Archbishop added.
