‘This is an exemplary manifestation of tolerance and brotherhood’, Shahramanyan thanks Fernández for supporting Artsakh

President of the Republic of Artsakh Samvel Shahramanyan has sent a letter to President of Argentina Alberto Fernández.

The letter reads:

“Dear Mr. President,

On behalf of the people, the authorities of the Republic of Artsakh and on my own behalf, let me welcome you and express my deep gratitude for raising the issue of the illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor in your speech at the G20 summit held in New Delhi.

We are grateful to you for standing by our people and helping them at this difficult stage.

It is extremely important for us that the international community and progressive humanity pay attention to the just and long-term struggle of our people, a struggle in the name of free and independent living on their land, for the protection of fundamental human rights and freedoms, universal norms and principles of democracy.

We highly appreciate your assistance to the people of Artsakh, which is a vivid example of loyalty to humanitarian values, as well as the attitude of the Argentine state towards the local Armenian community. This is an exemplary manifestation of tolerance and brotherhood.
