Those who violate US laws should be deported – Ardashes Kassakhian

Speaking with Alpha News, Glendale City Councilmember Ardashes Kassakhian spoke about the protests in Los Angeles following strict immigration policies.

“Any criminal, whether here illegally or legally, who violates the laws of this country should be deported. I do not want criminals in the US,” Kassakhian stated.

He recounted a case in which immigrant parents were arrested, with their young child being left alone.

“I believe that anyone with human compassion cannot remain indifferent to such cases,” Kassakhian said.

During the demonstrations in Los Angeles, police used riot gear as well as batons and tear gas. Dozens of people were arrested. The unrest in the United States erupted following an anti-immigrant raid.
