Tigran Avinyan pledges to serve for Yerevan’s prosperity

On October 13, Tigran Avinyan was sworn in as Mayor of Yerevan at a special sitting of the Yerevan City Council.

“Taking up the office of Mayor of Yerevan, I pledge to abide by the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Armenia, the decisions of the City Council, to perform the duties of the Mayor honestly and faithfully, to serve for the sake of Yerevan’s prosperity and act for the benefit of its residents.

I pledge to take care of preserving and increasing the wealth of our ancient capital, to protect the rights, legitimate interests and property of the community, to support the faith of the people with boundless devotion, to promote its material and spiritual growth, to be a supporter of every noble initiative aimed at realizing the cherished ideas of my fellow citizens,” Avinyan said.
