Tigran Barseghyan’s winner moves Slovan Bratislava to Champions League group stage

Slovan Bratislava will become Slovakia’s first club in the Champions League group stage in 14 years.

Armenian midfielder Tigran Barseghyan, 30, scored the winner that secured the club’s place in the Champions League.

Slovan won 3-2 in the decisive game against Danish Midtjylland, which took place at Bratislava’s national stadium.
