Today Church is being targeted by man responsible for 5,000 deaths – Vahe Avetyan

We are standing on the brink of losing our statehood, and by destroying the Church they will ultimately bring about its annihilation, Vahe Avetyan, a member of the Armenian community in St. Petersburg, said in an interview with Alpha News.

“The fact that today we speak Armenian, have our culture, and raise our children with Armenian values is thanks to the Church. For centuries we did not have statehood, but we had the Church, and dismantling it serves only one purpose—to bring about the destruction of our statehood,” he said.

Avetyan also emphasized that today the Church is being targeted by a man because of whom we have suffered 5,000 deaths.
