Trial of Artsakh former leaders begins in Baku

The trial of former leaders of Artsakh and other Armenian captives has started in Baku.

All captives are accused of “war crimes”. By the decision of Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General, 1,389 criminal cases investigated by the Prosecutor General’s Office and other investigative bodies of the country on “crimes” committed in the period from October 1987 to April 22, 2024 have been merged into one proceeding.

According to Azerbaijani media, the trial will be held in Baku Military Court chaired by Judge Zeynal Agayev.
