Truck drivers protest outside government building in Yerevan

Truck drivers have once again staged a protest outside the government building in Yerevan. They are demanding a resolution to the migration issues they face when entering Russia.

Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan came out to speak with the protesters. He stated that the country’s authorities are addressing the issue at the highest level. He did not provide details, noting that doing so could hinder the process. Papoyan assured that this matter is a concern not only for the drivers but also for the Armenian leadership.
