We must communicate with all our neighbors, but if necessary, we should invite them to our country and continue negotiations here, said AYF Armenia chairperson Gor Sargsyan in a conversation with journalists.
“After the 2020 war, Nikol Pashinyan and his team have been negotiating with Turkey and Azerbaijan, but those negotiations do not serve the interests of the Armenian people. These people claim that the issue of Artsakh no longer exists, that the Genocide issue no longer exists,” he said.
According to Sargsyan, Turkey must acknowledge that its ancestors committed genocide and that it continues to bear responsibility for it.
“How can we believe him? In 2020, Pashinyan said Turkey was entering the region to carry out a new genocide. Now he says something entirely different. Negotiations must take place, but not by serving the interests of Azerbaijan and Turkey—rather, by placing the interests of the people of Artsakh on the table,” added the AYF leader.
