Turkish FM: Azerbaijan paved the way to lasting peace in the region

The signing of the peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia will have positive consequences not only for the two countries but also for the entire region, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced at the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States.

Hakan Fidan considered the “return of four villages to Azerbaijan” as well as the talks between the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Almaty a positive step. According to him, Azerbaijan paved the way to lasting peace in the region.
