Turkish FM: We expect global support for opening of ‘Zangezur route’

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan touched upon the so-called “Zangezur corridor” during the trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey in Baku.

“Azerbaijan has restored its territorial integrity over these years. Georgia has become a candidate for membership in the European Union. The restoration of peace in the South Caucasus is of regional and global importance. In this regard, we expect global support for the opening of the Zangezur route,” he said.
