U.S. Congressman Adam Schiff Agreed to Receive Armenians

U.S. Congressman Adam Schiff will meet with the representatives of the local Armenian community.

A few minutes ago, protesters who blocked the Glendale-Burbank Line reported that the Congressman agreed to receive Armenians through the mediation of Archbishop Ter Hovnan, leader of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church in the United States.

“During this meeting, we need to understand how long our work will continue, how long we can force the United States to prevent the new genocide which is happening to the same nation by the same people. Enough. We are ready to continue our work until we understand that our Artsakh is in safe hands”, a protester said.

Earlier, it was reported that the Armenian community blocked the Glendale-Burbank Line, demanding the meeting with Adam Schiff.

Local Armenians have been protesting in defense of Artsakh for 4 days. They call for a serious response to the actions of Azerbaijan and urge to open the Artsakh road which has been blocked for 8 months.
