UK lawmakers urge their government to put pressure on Azerbaijan to release Armenian prisoners

Jessica Morden, a member of the UK Parliament and chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (AAPG) for Armenia, along with her vice-chairs, has sent a letter to the UK government regarding the Armenian prisoners being held in Baku. Morden wrote about this in a post on X.

In the letter, the UK lawmakers strongly condemned the “continuing detention and trials of the 23 Armenian prisoners in Baku” and called on UK Government Ministers to “put pressure on Azerbaijan to help achieve their release.”
