Unblocking of economic and transport corridors is possible only with Russia’s participation, says Russian Deputy PM

Armenia is not officially withdrawing its signature from the trilateral declaration, which was signed in 2020 by Moscow, Baku, and Yerevan and contributed to the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh. At the same time, however, no progress has been made for about a year and a half within the trilateral working group on unblocking communications in the region, said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk, reports TASS.

“Armenia is not officially withdrawing its signature from the trilateral declaration, but at the same time, almost no progress has been made for two years, or, let’s say, at least a year and a half since last summer within the trilateral working group,” Overchuk said on the air of Russian Channel One.

According to Overchuk, the unblocking of economic and transport corridors in the region is “possible only with the participation of Russia.”
