Under Samvel Karapetyan’s leadership, Armenia will have its place in the sun: Narek Karapetyan

By uniting security programs and the full potential of the Armenian people, Armenia will secure its place in the sun under the leadership of Samvel Karapetyan. That was the message delivered by Narek Karapetyan, a member of the Strong Armenia party council, at the “Strong World” international conference in Jermuk.

“We are in Jermuk, five kilometers from which, on sovereign Armenian territory, foreign armed forces are stationed. Guaranteeing Armenia’s security is of fundamental importance for long-term peace and stability, and Jermuk is a vivid illustration of that. The international security architecture is undergoing profound transformation: the post-World War II order no longer exists, new systems have yet to take shape, and the institutions designed to ensure justice in relations between peoples and states are today faltering and have lost their authority. In this period, it is critically important to possess both defensive and diplomatic capabilities in order to meet these challenges and claim our rightful place,” Karapetyan said.

He stressed that ensuring Armenia’s security requires a comprehensive approach encompassing diplomacy, military transformation, and smart borders.

“The next ten years will determine which countries and which peoples retain their place in the sun. I assure you that through our security programs, our diplomatic approach, and by harnessing the full potential of our people, under the leadership of Samvel Karapetyan, we will have our place in the sun. Security has always been a priority for our people, and today it has been undermined. Our security program consists of six points: first, robust diplomacy that will bring Armenia lasting peace; second, military transformation; third, a protected sky; fourth, smart borders,” Karapetyan said.
